Florida Sunrise Auto

Tropical Citrus, Kush Depth, and Outstanding Potency

Florida Sunrise Autoflower Seeds combine Green Crack, TK Bx1, and Keepers Ruderalis. This feminized automatic strain has a colorful tropical profile and a listed THC range of 28-30%. Seedkeepers classifies the cultivar as indica-dominant, but the effects are described as uplifting, which takes the plant in a more interesting direction than an auto that is just heavy.

Florida Sunrise can be cultivated indoors as well as outdoors, reaching a height of around 59.1 inches, and has the potential for very high yields. But this cultivar is not for the faint of heart. It's strong, has a medium level of difficulty, and a very productive structure, making it more appropriate for an intermediate grower who can maintain an environment. In exchange, it rewards you with dense flowers that are heavy with resin and one of the highest THC levels in Seedkeepers.

Green Crack x TK Bx1 x Keepers Ruderalis

Green Crack is known for its bright citrus and tropical fruit, and its cognitive effects are very energizing. TK Bx1 is a backcross of the Triangle Kush and adds an earthy fuel and pine, as well as a denser structure of the Kush. Keepers Ruderalis contributes automatic flowering, meaning bloom can occur based on age rather than a switch to a 12/12 light cycle.

Seedkeepers classifies this selection as indica-dominant, but some descriptions for photoperiod cultivars of Florida Sunrise trend sativa. Specifications from different breeders are not a substitute for the provided data for this plant. It is a claimed indica dominant auto with uplifting effects, THC of 28-30%, CBD of 0.5 – 0.7%, medium stature, and very high yield potential.

Pineapple, Orange, Earth, and Gas

Aroma is expected to be sunny and tropical. Sweet Pineapple and ripe Orange may lead, to be followed by tangy citrus peel and fresh earth, pine, and gassy Kush. Green Crack keeps the top of the profile lively while TK Bx1 gives the sweetness a drier, more grounded finish.

Some plants will lean heavily toward fruit. Others may place fuel and earth closer to the front. Seedkeepers does not publish a terpene analysis for this auto, so phenotype and environment will determine the balance.

Odor control may be needed by indoor growers as the flowers mature.

Uplifting Effects at 28% to 30% THC

Florida Sunrise, at THC 28% to 30% and CBD 0.5% to 0.7%, is described as uplifting. Those numbers place it firmly in the very-high potency category. This is a THC led cultivar for experienced consumers.

The bright Green Crack side may assist in a quick rise in mood and mental energy. As the experience develops, the background Kush adds physical weight and a more grounded feel. Music, conversation, or creative activity may be suited to smaller servings. Less functional and more heavy the experience can feel with larger amounts.

All result modifiers can include setting, phenotype, harvest timing, and consumption method. A minimal amount should be taken by anyone unfamiliar with high-THC flower, and more should not be taken until it has had time to take effect.

Indoor Growing

Seedkeepers.com rates Florida Sunrise as a medium difficulty, suggesting it is suitable for intermediate growers. Automatic flowering means no light cycle switching, but still requires careful irrigation, airflow, and canopy control. Autos also have limited recovery periods, so early life stress can substantially reduce their potential.

Use a light and well-aerated growing medium, and avoid keeping the root zone overly wet. Starting in the final container can reduce the stress of transplanting. At around 59.1 inches, the plant will need additional space for the pot, canopy, and sufficient clearance below the light.

Flowers that are dense and full of resin require a consistent humidity level and airflow. In regards to indoor production, Seedkeepers expresses a 1.3 to 1.5 ounce yield per every square foot. Additionally, a healthy root zone paired with good light distribution is key to being in that range.

Yield Potential Outdoors

The outdoor growing conditions should include access to sunlight, good drainage, and space for airflow. Seedkeepers states production averages between 17.6 to 21.2 ounces per plant, and classifies the yield as very high for an autoflower. However, this should be considered a target, not a guarantee.

Container size, climate, sunlight access, nutrients, plant health, and phenotype, among others, will determine potential yield. You may want to add some branch supports as the flowers begin to get heavier. Check for problems after rainy and humid days as the dense buds can become an issue.
